Nascita Fondazione Horse Museum
Nascita Fondazione Horse Museum

Everyone to the notary to create the Horse Museum Foundation which was born from the collection of objects depicting horses by Claudia Bettiol and Maria Vittori.

The Foundation aims to help the growth of young athletes who practice equestrian sports by broadening their vision of the relationship between man and horse.

Equestrian sports are not like other sports and involve the formation of a combination of horse and rider who must learn to respect each other, love each other and trust each other.

A relationship that has been illustrated in many artistic objects in Italy but also all over the world and in every moment of history. A relationship that began many millennia ago and will never end.

The Foundation's board is made up of Maria Vittori, president, and Claudia Bettiol and Bruno Grassetti.

San Felice Circeo - Panorama
19 July: San Felice Circeo and the "Lo STRACQUO" of Circe

An original way to present the new call of the Lazio Region for the next City of Culture. An event that is an art experience in San Felice Circeo, in Porta del Parco at the Torre dei Templari for a weekend dedicated to art 'brought' from the sea 19 - 21 July 2019.

First, a brief introduction to the practice of 'Lo Stracquo' which for many centuries has characterized the lives of the people of San Felice Circeo, Ponza and Ventotene who are the Cities of Culture of Lazio in 2019. During periods of famine, people they went to the beach to look for something brought from the sea that could be useful.

In reality it was above all in the islands that at certain times of the year hunger pushed to seek help from the sea. And often the sea was generous.

Today the Stracquo by necessity has become an artistic moment and those who go to the beach do it to find inspiration to compose something inspirational.

A movement born with the Cala Felce di Ponza Association which becomes an occasion for an exhibition of artists and a reflection on the relationship between man and the sea. The sea today reports many other things that man has thrown unexpectedly, a plastic island has also been created in the Mediterranean and a reflection on the relationship between man and sea is more than ever a necessity.

Friday at 5:30 PM, on the occasion of the inauguration of the exhibition, the region will present the new call for the next City of Culture in the presence of the mayors of San Felice Circeo and Colleferro, leader of the winners of the 2018 and 2019 editions and in the presence by arch Luca Calselli who designed both winning projects.

Lo Stracquo di Circe - Art Experience is the prelude to the event to be held in Ponza in late August 2019.

Campus Tor Vergata Town Ambassador Award
17 June: Award Ceremony and Seminar at the University of Tor Vergata

How to keep young people in Italy by letting them enter the world of tourism services?

On the 17th of June at 3:00 PM on the 1st floor Meeting room of the University of Tor Vergata we will discuss together on how to help young people become entrepreneurs in this new tourism sector that has grown exponentially in recent years, both as a market than in innovation.

A seminar to place the foundations of our program which we will start in the autumn with the start of the schools, all those who participate will contribute together with us in a brainstorming session to plan this action. An action that can help micro-businesses and small businesses to grow and, above all, to understand how to reach young people between 20 and 30 years of age to make them stay and create businesses in Italy in services for tourism.

The seminar is organized by Discoverplaces.travel in collaboration with the Faculty of Science of Tourism of the University of Tor Vergata.

We are waiting for you, for this day of sharing, to help our companies and our young people to see Italy as a country of opportunities, not to be left and abandoned.

A meeting at the University of Tor Vergata dedicated to all Town Ambassadors who received the award for maintaining a bond with their town of origin and continuing to promote it in various ways.

The occasion was a seminar dedicated to 'young people and tourism', where many young graduates in Italy are leaving the country because they cannot see any interesting prospects for them.

The meeting was divided into three parts: one dedicated to the testimonies of those who received our Town Ambassador award such as prof. Ivo Pulcini and architect Luca Calselli, because of their commitment and the genius with which they created solutions to promote the 'minor territories'.

This was followed by a testimony and reflection with the many local administrators who arrived at the event, on how to promote their town. This was introduced and moderated by Prof Nicolò Costa and architect Luca Calselli who won for two years in a row the Lazio City of Culture Award, in 2018 and 2019. Also present a representative of the mayor of Colleferro, and Giuseppe Schiboni, mayor of San Felice Circeo.

At the end of the meeting, two Town Ambassadors certificates were awarded to architect Edoardo Filippucci of Albano Laziale and Antonio Moschetta, a young creative and proactive entrepreneur from the South of Italy.
